Fall 2011 – Lending a Helping Hand
Raising children is not an easy task, as any parent knows. Fortunately, there are so many resources and support groups in this very family-oriented community that we live in. Sharing these resources and building a supportive network of parents was the primary reason for launching Piedmont Family Magazine. While we always strive to share articles that support parents, this issue is specifically focused on “Lending a Helping Hand” with articles that offer resources and advice and showcase the many ways that families in this community support each other.
Our resource section also has many lists that can help you in managing (and enjoying) daily family life: pediatricians and dentists, preschools, libraries, consignment sales, kids’ fitness programs, and more. If you have additions or corrections to these lists or want to suggest additional lists, send us an email. Whether you’re taking care of day-to-day family business, figuring out what to do with your family time, or seeking answers to some of the bigger challenges parenting can bring, you’ll find something in Piedmont Family Magazine to interest you.
When you are out-and-about in the community, be sure to tell the advertisers or places you visit that you read about them in Piedmont Family Magazine.
Thank you for your support,
Danielle Rice, Editor
